The aim of this policy brief is to map the evolution of trade relations between the EU and Africa since the early 2000s by considering the evolution of their relations amidst crises such as the 2008 financial downturn, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the current war in Ukraine, as well as the geopolitical changes that followed.
