CHI SIAMO
Il Luiss Research Center for European Analysis and Policy (LEAP) è il centro di ricerca specializzato dell’Università Luiss dedicato alla governance economica europea, alle politiche industriali e commerciali comunitarie, e alle dinamiche istituzionali dell’Unione europea. Il LEAP è riconosciuto dalla Commissione Europea come Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence per la EU Inclusive Open Strategic Autonomy Centre (IOSAC), orientato allo studio e all’analisi delle politiche europee volte a conciliare competitività, autonomia strategica e sostenibilità nella regione euro-mediterranea.
Il centro svolge anche ricerche finanziate e policy-oriented. Pubblica regolarmente policy paper, working paper, policy brief e newsletter mensili, che affrontano le questioni più rilevanti della politica economica, industriale e commerciale italiana ed europea. LEAP organizza simposi, conferenze e seminari che coinvolgono figure di primo piano provenienti dal mondo accademico, istituzionale e aziendale italiano ed europeo, favorendo il dibattito e la riflessione critica su temi economici e politici attuali.
PEOPLE
Il Preside del centro è Valentina Meliciani e il Presidente è Domenico Siniscalco. L’area della governance economica europea è guidata da Carlo Bastasin e l’area della politica industriale europea è guidata da Maria Savona. Il Presidente del Consiglio Scientifico è Sabino Cassese. LUHNIP è gestito da Donato Di Carlo.

SEP Friends
SEP Friends brings together members of other Luiss schools and departments and other institutions (national and international, academic and otherwise). Contributors delve into issues related to SEP’s fields of study. This group meets at least once a year, and at the Director’s request.
Luiss SEP Strategic Policy Group
The Luiss SEP Strategic Policy Group, created in 2014, in addition to the members of the School’s Scientific Council, includes a small number of important exponents of Italian industry and finance and the heads of some public institutions active in economic and financial governance. The Strategic Policy Group meets two or three times a year to discuss crucial issues of Italian and European governance and economic policies. Following each meeting and as a result of the discussion, the Group produces a policy brief which is then transmitted to the government authorities and subsequently circulated in Italy and abroad. The Group’s aim is to identify strategic issues on which to express guidelines based on solid analyses implemented by the academic component, but also illuminated by the vision of the business leaders involved. The process of drawing up these guidelines uses the research results and, above all, the think tank activity carried out by SEP.
