This brief presents an analysis of Italian firms' participation in tenders funded by the World Bank since 2000. We aim to identify their strengths in international public contracts to guide policymakers in supporting business internationalization and enhancing Italy's international competitiveness, which is the key objective of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
